When Judith Scolnik was a little girl, she decided she wanted to learn Yiddish, the language her grandparents spoke.
One day a week, Judith would walk from her home on Palmerston Ave. or from the schoolyard to the Workmen’s Circle school on Shaw St., which was located in a house. The address may have been 237 Shaw St., which is a Victorian-era house. The information came from the website Bill Gladstone Genealogy.
